Past Events 

In the last 10 years the branch has held its own conference, attend local history events, featured in the local media and held its own visits. Below are some of the highlights of these events. 

2016-2019 

The branch exhibits at the Wolverhampton Archives each year - engaging the people of Wolverhampton in the Great War,

Summer 2016 the branch held a centenary conference at the Molineux Stadium, the home of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC. 

4 leading historians gave superb talks on an aspect of the fighting in 1916. 

The branch regularly attends local history events and puts on a display in order to engage the public in the Great War.

A feature in the Express and Star in 2014

Here, the vice-chairman Martyn Hale features in the newspaper telling the story of Arthur Strong, his connection to Wolverhampton and his experience in the Great War.

2014 Exhibition in the Wulfrun Shopping Centre - Wolverhampton

The kind people at the Wulfrun shopping Centre allowed the branch to host a pop up exhibition for a week in August 2014 and the beginning of the centenary.
